This is a fully equipped cabin in walking distance of The Nature Conservancy Ramsey Canyon preserve. There were four adults and one teen in our group so 2 bathrooms and two bedrooms was a big plus. We were able to cook meals in a full kitchen but also close to Sierra Vista for groceries and meals out. AC, Wifi and... More

Our second stay to the Cowboy Cabin. We dug this stay even more than our first stay last year. We have stressful jobs and Ramsey Canyons provide a most welcome retreat from our daily grind. We love the locations, wildlife and peace of our accommodations. Harry and Judy are outstanding hosts and we cannot wait for our next visit. An... More

Wasn't sure about renting a cabin for the night after all of the reviews regarding the owners, however, wanted to stay an extra night in the Canyon and had already stayed one night at Ramsey Canyon Bed and Breakfast. When booking my reservation, I informed the owner I would arrive after the concert at the Arizona Folklore Preserve; approximately 4:00... More

Visited Arizona from Iowa and stayed with friends in the Hummingbird Cabin. We found the host and hostess to be most gracious and friendly without any intrusiveness. Enjoyed the cabin's amenities and comfort. The wildlife was very enjoyable, the Coues deer and the turkeys were very social and added to the charm of our stay. Took a hike on Sunday morning,... More

Having lived in the Phoenix area for 30 years, but never having visited S.E. Arizona, I've long wanted to visit Ramsey Canyon. The three of us, friends, selected Ramsey Canyon Cabins 'Hummingbird Cabin'; but with some trepidation based upon a couple of the previous reviews on this site. Well, we could not have been more pleasantly surprised as we unlocked... More

We stayed at this cabin as part of our annual vacation, but we will never stay here again. While the cabin was nice enough and the wildlife quite beautiful, we found the landlords to be very intrusive. We expected to enjoy the solitude and privacy of a remote cabin, but constant visits from the landlord were intimidating. We had unsolicited... More

Booked a few nights at this cabin expecting privacy. The host came by frequently including every morning to get the bird feeders out that he stored in the cabin we were staying (?) Nice cabin and area but found the host to be very intrusive. Do not stay here if you want privacy.

Bird Feeders are cleaned, filled and placed outside each cabin just prior to our guests arrival. Sugar is kept in the refrigerator for guests to refill the feeders as needed. Extra feeders are available upon request and are stored in the feeder cabinet located outside of the office. We enter the cabins upon request to meet the needs of our... More

Our party of four stayed in the two bedroom hummingbird cabin. We took our time and a few detours so arrived late, (after 6 P.M.). Harry was very gracious and showed us around the cabin, which is wonderful. The beds were great and all you needed to bring was "meat and taters", everything else seemed to be in the kitchen....
