The owners have done a wonderful job of converting an old church into a B&B. The room was quite clean and comfortable even though everything in it was antique. Everywhere you looked in the room and the building there was something interesting to see. The location is fantastic with only a few blocks to walk to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast...

My husband & I stayed here for 8 days in July 2015. We had stayed at this B&B a few years ago on our first trip to Ventura, which we enjoy for its nice beaches & laid-back & friendly atmosphere. Grant Park, a nearby park up in the hills, is also great for hiking. The B&B is in a great...

This is a lovely old church that has been converted into a B&B. It only has five rooms, but they are all unique and very well done. Our room, the "Fleur de Lis" was a great place for the night. Lots of antiques, a brass bed, a/c, and a door to the large back patio (shared with 2 other rooms)….....

This is a quaint and quirky spot, good for one night. The breakfast was excellent! Each room has it's own unique character, and some are very nice. Can be a bit noisy, it is in an old church, but lot's of conversation pieces around!

You can't help but like the charm of this building and the hosts were wonderful. The rooms were disappointing however with cobwebs and dust galore. It really needs a good cleaning. We were also disappointed that there was no wine offered as advertised. Nona explained that the State now prevents them from serving wine so they were going to change...

My cousin and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Victorian Rose Bed and Breakfast recently while in Ventura for my daughter's bridal shower. We booked the Emperor's room and it was every bit as charming and descriptive as the website stated, including the 15' spiral staircase. Unfortunately for me, I was struck with the scary experience of...

Travelers of every denomination can find something to love about their stay at the Victorian Rose. The unique (aka Gothic) ambiance of the interior combines stained glass, domed ceilings, a table set for a King, vintage couches, chairs and games, with even a Torah corner. After opening the door to our room we were pleasantly surprised with a beautiful gas...

This bed and breakfast is in an old church, so all the rooms have beautiful stained glass, and arched doorways. Definitely something a little different! The innkeepers, Nona & Richard, are very friendly, and every afternoon there is wine and homemade goodies, the breakfasts are also homemade, and very filling, different every day. On the main street of Ventura, so...

We stayed at the B&B for my birthday - I was greeted with a wonderful miniature birthday cake when we checked in although we could not enjoy the other snacks as we were going out to dinner with friends. This is a converted church and the stained glass windows in the main sitting area are gorgeous. We stayed in the...

“Not all of the bedrooms have a bath in the room so you will want to be aware of that when making your reservation. We chose the Fleur de Leis which had a great shower and tub. We also liked the location. We will definitely choose the same room when we return.”
