I wanted a California vacation, but an affordable one. I wanted something more personal than a hotel that included a hearty breakfast. Bella Maggiore fit the bill. I originally contact the firm on December 14 while I was planning my trip. The woman I spoke with, I believe her name was Lindsey, quoted me $62 per night between 1/14 and...

My husband and I stayed in this cozy Inn with 28 rooms. Its has an european ambience and our room had a balcony that overlooked the courtyard. We found the staff to be very helpful and enjoyed the fabulous location where you can walk to all the shops and to dinner. The breakfast was wonderful (included in price of B&B),...

We were visiting for a cousin's engagement party and my parents, my and husband and I, and all of the other guests of the party booked rooms at the hotel for Fri and Sat night. We were given rooms that overlooked the street, and unfortunately were directly across from several bars. They all had some sort of live music going...

My wife and I stayed at the Bella Maggiore B & Slow B last weekend. Ventura County is right next to Los Angeles, but still a long distance away. Noisy room, we woke up to hotel staff starting breakfast at 6:00 a.m. Management skills were lacking, and I'm still not sure why the hotel kept passing around lists of all...

My fiancee and I planned to buy out all of the rooms in the entire hotel for our wedding on Sept. 19, 2009. The owner Tom (whom we were prevented from meeting) never came out to introduce himself to us. Wendy (Sales) was the "Gate Keeper" to Tom and all our communication had to be filtered through her. For what...

This is the second time that I've stayed at the Bella Maggiore. We stayed for 5 nights, and had one of the rooms that shared a nice balcony facing the inner courtyard. The hotel reminds you of a typical Italian style family hotel, and it has a lot of charm. However, our garbage wasn't emptied for 4 days, I had...

Nice place tho my room overlooked a community parking lot on Saturday night--some interesting activity, but no problems with noise or sleeping. Large room, large bath. No tv, comfortable bed. Great breakfast and very nice courtyard seating--great Sunday morning guitarist (Segovia style) accompanied food service.

On a recent trip down the California coast we elected to stop in Ventura before heading into the San Fernando Valley. We chose the Bella Maggiore Inn because it had a downtown location and promised a bit of old-country atmosphere. It met our expectations and more. Our room, which was clean & comfortable, overlooked the out-door plaza (you do have...

A bit faded and in need of an upgrade but charming in its way. Our room had a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard where breakfast's served. that was nice. What was less so was that our room was next to the cafe next door which had loud live music. A real pain. So the quiet room we requested turned out...
