On arrival you cannot not be impressed with the lobby as it was all decked out for Christmas and looked lovely. We were traveling as part of a group so didn't have to check in and could head straight for our room on the 5th...More
You cannot beat the location of this hotel. The lobby is beautiful and has great ambience. The rooms are typical New York size which is not a problem for me but they could use some updating. Our room on the 8th floor was a little...More
So, this was my first trip to NYC. read all of the negative reviews about the rooms and sadly they were true. I stayed on the 9th floor Vanderbilt street side. Pro's: FANTASTIC LOCATION!!! The bed was comfortable and bedding was attractive. Semi-quiet not a...More
While the location is good, this is the only positive thing to say regarding this hotel. The reception is not warm and welcoming as one would expect but rather rude and abrasive. The bellboys either do not understand their job description or feel too good...More
The Roosevelt Lobby is a long time favorite of mine and a fabulous Manhattan location. eaay stroll to Park, Madison, 5th and more. At Christmas the lobby is decorated tastefully and beautifully. If you are lucky enough to grab a wing chair, it's the best...More
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
I would recommend this hotel, great location for everything. Outside the front door is a holding area for marching bands so you can watch them set off or walk to 5th Ave which is only a few minutes walk away, and watch the... More
I would recommend this hotel, great location for everything. Outside the front door is a holding area for marching bands so you can watch them set off or walk to 5th Ave which is only a few minutes walk away, and watch the whole parade. Set of early for a good spot though as it gets busy very early and good luck getting into the Irish bars as they usually have massive queues to get in, but you will still get a buzz just walking around the area 😁
