Stayed here with my partner in March 2017. On arrival to the hotel.. it is very grand indeed, and having stayed in a number of hotels in New York City before, from the offset this initial impression was very good. However, that would be where it ended. I had pre-paid for the room, a standard queen room, and on dropping...

This property has a great location within walking distance of many midtown and uptown attractions and restaurants. We loved the historical grandeur of this hotel and appreciated that many of the features of its heyday have been preserved. The elevators need additional renovation, however, as they take a long time when called and then take their time getting you to...

I have wanted to stay at The Roosevelt Hotel in New York for some time. The history and architecture of the building is unquestionably impressive. Its location is second to none especially if you are visiting New York for the first time. Maybe it was because we were so excited to be in New York again and staying at this...

Very busy hotel - have to queue for check-in and some of the reception staff were great and some were very unfriendly. Room - Cosy room 11th floor was very small and no view just looking into rooms of another wing of the hotel. Tiny room only really fitted in the bed, bed very comfortable and room was adequate as...

Don't let the years of being in business fool you. I don't think they cleaned the place since they remodeled it in 96'. The breakfast buffet is literally a joke..... $35 per day to have a mini fridge what..... no coffee pot in room.....I would rather stay at the budget hotel next time, rather than a business pretend to be...

Horrible hotel. There is NOT one thing I liked about this hotel other than the location. Everything else was just BAD! The internet barely worked since they are using a third party system. Everything in this hotel seemed like it was patched up. This place needs a major rennovation. It's a pitty because it's in such a great location.

We stayed at the Roosevelt Hotel for 5 nights for our Wedding Anniversary. The beautiful reception area is really impressive with a nice bar where you can have table service if you want. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and our room was quiet clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, the Hotel is in an extremely central location....

I have stayed at the Roosevelt on several occasions when I had to travel in to NYC on short notice and found that my preferred hotel close to my office was fully booked. I've never been disappointed by the decision to go with the Roosevelt. The staff is friendly, the rooms are reasonably nice for the price, and the location...

I stayed here in 2011 and enjoyed it very much. It's a great location and having stayed here before I knew where things were from here. I like the building and area very much. This time I had some issues. To check in or anything at the front desk was a long, long wait (15-45 minutes each time). I know...

My husband and I stay at the Roosevelt every time we travel to New York now. The midtown location is excellent. Just a short walk to Grand Central Station and Times Square. The rooms are on the small side which is typical of NYC but they are quite comfortable. The bar is a nice spot to sit and people watch.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
