lovely hotel in great location. Small room but enough when there for a few days sight seeing and as much as expected in New York. Roof top terrace is a must see as great view of the empire state building and only a short walk from shopping! Would definitely recommend

I visit NYC a couple of times of year and always try to stay at the Hotel Metro. Last weekend I had the pleasure of staying again. The staff are always so pleasant, without being in your face all the time and the location cannot be beat! Macy's, the subway, Empire State Building, 5th Avenue, Times Square all within a...

I have been NYC on many occasions, but I have not previously stayed here. We chose this hotel due to it being in an excellent location. The room was small but perfectly adequate. It is clean and serviced daily by chambermaid service. The breakfast it like most, self service providing bagels, pastries, tea, coffee and juice. What really let the...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
