Before I write a review I tend to look at the other reviews out of curiosity. And I was shocked to see the 26 or so Terrible reviews, because our experience was so vastly different. Then when I saw that there were two or three from 2012 and then back to 2011 but all the recent ones were more inline...

Hotel staff was helpful. The room was small but clean. Bed was very comfortable. There was not a rack for hand towel in bathroom .Room did have a microwave & refrigerator. Breakfast was good. There is an extra charge for parking $25.00 per day. Nice stay, would stay again.

Staff great and helpful. Arrived early and was dreading the "your room is not ready as check in time is....." but a plan was made and had a great room in 15 minutes. Which is really appreciated when arriving off a red eye flight and desperate to shower. Fantastic location with brilliant restaurants in the area.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights in the beginning of May. The hotel is situated very vell, just a couple of blocks from the subway. This I must say was the main advantage of the hotel. The room was as well clean and a good size. Not the most modern interior but cleanliness is for me the most...

Nice hotel for good money. Good location. The rooms are nice but small. Cleaning was good. Breakfast is ok. Remember to bring earplugs, the streets are noisy. The staff will help you with transport to the airport.

Friendly and welcoming staff on reception, room was on the 8th floor overlooking Lexington Ave/East 30th Street , Manhattan, a 10 minute walk from the Empire State building. At times a little noisy as we feel the windows need upgrading. This quite cosy hotel has well appointed rooms with mahogany furniture, good size bathroom where everything worked well. The hotel...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
