Stayed a week in a suite in this icon of American Hotels. Not in the towers so maybe the care was less than it might be for those rooms. But the clumsiness of the service was remarkable. Somethings are so stupid--the toilet paper was something you might get in the army. And for some reason extra rolls were left on...

Don't stay here! I had booked 5 nights and then cancelled 3 of them. This hotel is very dated, the rooms are cramped and the facilities are inadequate. The hotel's atmosphere is stuffy and cold. I would never stay here again. It is not worth the cost.

Returned to Waldorf after almost 20 years and it was a wonderful deja-vu. There are certainly some things that needs to be repaired and a few scratches that comes from the wear and tear, but the overall experience is still very positive. Excellent price for quality ratio at this time of the year. By using online pre-chckin you can get...

The Waldorf is my preferred hotel when I am in NY as it's very close to my office (E 52nd/Park). The customer service here is excellent. The rooms can vary in terms of size and scope as the Waldorf is an older, established property - which can either be interesting, or a deterrent depending on your preference. There are various...

I have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Waldorf Astoria. When we decided to go to NYC to celebrate my landmark birthday the choice of hotel was easy. And the hotel mostly didn't disappoint. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
