HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

This was a dream to stay at this hotel. It is the most luxurious hotel that I have ever stayed at, and it's a shame it closing down so soon, as I would love to stay again. The main lobby area is lovely and a fine centre piece. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a deluxe...

Dear Del1991, Thank you for taking the time aside to write a review regarding your recent stay here at the Waldorf Astoria, New York. Historic sophistication and modern luxuries are uniquely part of the same compelling experience at the Waldorf Astoria. We hope that as the days, weeks and/or months pass by, you will consider choosing the Waldorf Astoria as...

The Waldorf is iconic. There's no need to enumerate the reasons that made the Waldorf iconic. But it's worth noting that much of what makes the Waldorf special is embodied in its employees, even in the landmark's final days. I'm compelled to write a positive review primarily because of the experiences I've had with one employee at the front desk,...

We checked into the Waldorf for a 4 night stay for my boyfriend's birthday trip last week. We were greeted by Rebecca who checked us in, immediately had a variety of pillows sent up (he has a bad back/neck situation), and made it clear we were welcome to call down with any more questions or concerns. We didn't necessarily think...

Just stayed there for two nights before it closes for good. What an amazing hotel with stunning Art Deco architecture and decor and superb customer service. It's scandalous that it's been sold to developers who have no regard for its heritage.

This is going to be so difficult to sum up in just a few words... It will bring tears to my eyes to write this, however it is a necessity that people understand the impact that this hotel had on my life. I originally stayed at this hotel when I was 18 years old. I was a young kid in...

Went to the Waldorf for a second time to renew a unique experience. The setting remains as grandiose as it ever was, as is befitting of grand hotels that were a destination for the rich and famous more than simply a place to rest. Most of the staff was as helpful and outgoing as before (kudos among others to Janet...

Stayed here for one evening and thought it was amazing once again. The lobby is absolutely beautiful. And the hotel room was ornate, but fit the style and class of the hotel perfectly. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. It's an easy walk to shops, restaurants and Central Park. I really wish this hotel wasn't closing. I'm going...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
