We go each year for a weekend trip to NYC for our daughter's birthday and the Michelangelo never ceases to impress us. A 2-3 block walk to the Times Square area or Rockefeller Center and about 9 blocks away from the entry to Central Park, the hotel is ideally located. Close enough to so many family friendly attractions and restaurants...

This hotel is located near Times Square, across from The Wintergarden theatre, but it's quiet. You step into 1920's elegance when you walk into the hotel. Our room was at the back of the hotel and very peaceful. It was nicely furnished and clean. The shower had great water pressure and there was plenty of hot water. It seemed that...

Superb location on 51st and 7th Ave. The room was large, comfortable and well equipped, though I thought the Intimacy kit was a bit too much. We were not informed of the complimentary breakfast on check in, and found out later only on trip advisor. As it was only between 7 & 9 am we skipped it and has our...

Went to NY city for first time in years, and went to The Michelangelo based on Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The hotel is in a fantastic location, central to everything we wanted to see. The price is very reasonable and the rooms were larger than I was expecting. I would definitely return there for my next visit.

We stayed at the Michelangelo for our wedding anniversary weekend in NYC, it was excellent. The hotel is beautiful, the room was large and so comfortable. The location is amazing, great midtown location so close to everything, so close to Central Park and Times Square and Radio City, just down the street perfect! The staff were wonderful, friendly and so...

Our stay at the Michelangelo was wonderful! We have traveled a lot over the years, and your hotel was everything I demand when I travel. I happened to be with my daughter on this visit and I am sorry that my husband was not with me to see how happy I was. I do believe however, that the carpet in...

The staff at this hotel were among the best I've ever met. Kind , courteous, attentive. They went above and beyond anything that could have been expected of them on all fronts. The room and bed were beautiful with a gorgeous Gatsby New York feel.

I want to preference this review to let you know I am a fussy traveler, not unreasonable, but I like things nice especially if I am paying top dollar. Just stayed 5 nights at the Michelangelo Hotel for pleasure and business. The location is the best close but not in Times Square and close to the subways. I want to...

I was so pleased with this hotel! I normally stay down in the West Village, and my daughter decided to change things up this visit. I was actually really happy with the location, the staff, and the hotel itself. Everyone is super accomodating. Henry-Carlos-Edwin--in the front were always smiling, happy, and willing to help with anything. Super experience all across the...

Arrived, checked in and was in my room in under 15mins. And what a room! Spacious, with a king bed and a sitting area (couch, armchair, coffee table), mini bar, bathroom with large tub and a walk in closet! Very friendly staff (Front desk, Concierge and Doormen) Walking distance to everything in mid-town (restaurants, Theaters, Time Square, shopping, etc) Not...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
