We used Lombardy because its rooms are suites, and we needed the space. For $320+ one just gets a living space. There are toiletries in the bathroom but no coffee. Eventually they sent a bag of coffee and a filter they had for a few friends, but without sugar or milk. Similarly there is no room service. At midnight in...

Hello tailor001 and thank you very much for your review of our hotel. We deeply apologise your experience as our guest at The Lombardy was not typical of what our team strives to provide everyone who books a stay with us. We are very sorry your accommodations were not what you had expected; our Front Office team would have endeavoured...

The hotel is a little different. They are actually all different as they are apartments. Service and amenities are rather spartan; it's not a full service hotel in that respect. The gym was a good size and decent. The rooms are big and like a suite. There is a small kitchen. I had a coffee maker (bought my own can...

Hello Jonathan E and thank you very much for being our guest. We're pleased to know your overall experience at The Lombardy was more than satisfactory. It is true no one apartment is the same as the other because we rent out individually owned apartments on a transient basis. And it's the uniqueness of each unit and the size, coupled...

I stayed at the Lombardy pretty much as a shot in the dark: it was the closest hotel to an event I was attending. I found the hotel to be nicely appointed, clean, and very quiet. My room was rather large (for an NYC room, it was practically a mansion). The fitness center wasn't crowded and guests of the hotel...

Hi there jaschiel and thank you very much for being our guest at The Lombardy. We're so happy to know your stay with us was a truly delightful one. And it is true, our rooms and suites are remarkably over-sized compared to the ones found in the cookie-cutter hotels that dot the island of Manhattan. Guest satisfaction is very important...

I stayed here in March 2016. I honestly was blown away by the size of the room - it was the largest room I've ever stayed in - forget the fact this was New York! A really lovely stay. The only downside was that I think it must have been a smoking room relatively recently, as the smell of smoke...

Hi there JLM36 and thank you very much for being our guest. We're very delighted your overall experience at The Lombardy was a most pleasant one. It is true the size of our rooms and suites are unconventionally large, but that's all part of the Lombardy mystique...we're not a conventional hotel and we're proud of it! We apologise for the...

If you want something more personal and with great style, try the Lombardy. I changed my booking last minute as I fancied the look of this hotel, I wanted a place which allowed smoking and my was I pleased I had. I was upgraded yo a huge room, a vast kingsize bed, a walkin closet and a separate kitchen. The...

I recently stayed here with my family of 5. It was the perfect home away from home for us in NYC. Quietly tucked away on 56th St. between Park and Lexington, this hotel has it all. On a recent trip to the City my wife and I stayed at this "hotel". Actually, it is a collection of privately-owned apartments which are leased in hotel style on a nightly basis. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
