What a lovely hotel! Very clean! Very friendly! It is in a great location and can walk to Central Park with ease! Starbucks right on the corner. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommend! And we loved the cookies and capaccino.
I was so pleasantly surprised by this wonderful hotel. I found it because I am an IHG rewards member. I read the reviews and thought I'd give it a go (I normally stay in midtown but this hotel was near a doctor I was seeing multiple times in a week). It is tucked away on a quiet street that is so close to amazing NYC food (also a Whole Foods about a block away). The rooms are lovely and I found big enough for me and my needs. The best part of my experience was the staff, hands down. In the "normal" world I am a frequent business traveler and hotel staff can greatly improve your time away from home if that is how the hotel operates/they choose to do so. Everyone I encountered at this hotel went above and beyond and you felt like you were visiting a friend's cozy home and not in the heart of the Big Apple. Can't wait to get back!…
If you’re looking for space this isn’t the place. That being said, it doesn’t advertise huge rooms so I was very content and satisfied. For a mid range hotel accommodations were very sweet. The mattresses were incredibly comfortable. The workstation was adequate. The television set up was impressive. However, the best thing, the thing that will keep me coming back, is this: The level of noise pollution was lower than any other New York Hotel I’ve ever stayed at. That’s what bumps it up for me. Best night’s sleep I've ever had in a New York Hotel.
This hotel is a perfect hidden gem in the upper East side. It's recently renovated boutique style added to the charm. The rooms are clean, comfortable, good sized, and adorable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The parking garage next store was perfect. Excellent location. I couldn't be more pleased, especially for the price.
My stay at The Franklin last month was great. In town on a business trip - I felt welcomed and appreciated. The room was cozy and homey. After 16 hours of office and Zoom meetings, the Franklin was a welcome respite. The rooms aren’t huge, but it was perfect for me. I had a great night’s sleep (which is more than I can say about most mid-range Manhattan hotels). I already booked my room for next month.
