Soho Grand was grand, indeed. Large entry doors opens with a warm hello, room with a view, nicest cleaning lady ever... and quiet nights in the midst of Soho. Even Oski the dog was pleased. Was I really in NYC?

My wife, family and I have been stayed at the SohoGrand every year for the last 15 years - always a pleasure to return to a place where we are remembered and looked after. It's in a prime location and the staff are always fantastic

From the moment we arrived outside the Soho Grand the experience started. A friendly greeting, swift check-in and then the first view of a very chic room. Decorated in an older vintage style, the room certainly has that WOW factor. Good quality furnishings, great bed and impressive decoration. The selection of snacks and treats are eclectic, and just a little... More

My stay at Soho Grand was really grand! My business trip took me to NYC and I really enjoy staying at the Soho. It's my 4th trip to NYC in 5 months. I wasn't able to book a stay at the Soho during my 11 day business trip early in June due to it being completely booked. I stayed at... More

I've stayed at the Soho Grand many times over the years. Great location. Comfortable rooms. Distinctive boutique feel. Beautiful people. Nice food. Creative industry types a-go-go. Stayed here recently for 4-5 days and as usual the hotel delivered. Except for one strange, repeating issue: a failure to allow us to order drinks in a quiet side room 12 feet from... More

A wonderful location in NYC with a warm neighborhood feel. Wonderful staff and service. Looking forward to returning soon. Soho Grand has bicycles, dog park and great food & drink. A unique spot for all.

My room was very noisy, due to the location of the hotel. Breakfast on one occasion was disappointing (took ages to order; then wrong food was brought; and I was overcharged). Lovely room though and very pleasant communal areas. Courteous and helpful staff.

Really quirky, as befits the area. It's a shame we only had one night there as there are so many places round about to explore. The hotel is relaxed and comfortable with some really nice touches. We would stay again, but pay extra for a bigger room. Air con was very noisy, but effective.

My wife and I spent our first night at the Soho Grand. It is grand indeed. Nice room, beautiful view. Great lounge. Service was very good. Over all stay was memorable, but at $500 a night, it's pretty steep. For a regular visit to the city, I'd look for something a tad cheaper.

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
