When you're new to the city, comfortable place to stay in is one thing that a traveler need. This is definitely the only hotel i am gonna stay everytime I'll travel to New York. Good internet wifi speed, clean cozy room, and very accommodating hotel staff. Shoutout to Mister Mohammed and Miss Dolly who works in the lobby breakfast counter...

I booked this hotel through Hotels.com. The hotel was a bit pricey. When you enter into the hotel there was a fresh smell, very clean and the front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant. The bellhop guys were very nice. The hallway to our room was dated. Could do with an upgrade, but clean. The room was clean but...

We'stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. It's a 20 stores hotel witch is more than normal in times square area, but it needs total renovation. All furniture and amenities in the room are old and overused. The same is the bathroom. We don't talk for the corridors whitch are covered with a dirty carpet-moket. The public areas in the...

The hotel is nice enough, until Saturday night when the incessant noise, i.e. "music"from the Novotel across the street went on loudly until 11:30 pm. It's on again now at 2:45pm no doubt until late night. It never stops, even for a few seconds. The hotel would not move us because "we can't move everyone who has complained". Absolutely no...

Nice hotel. Not the fanciest and very busy, but completely adequate. Perfect location in the middle of Times Square. I had a problem with housekeeping not servicing my room after two requests, and the hotel fixed it at 7:00pm which was much appreciated. Overall I recommend especially if you want to be in the middle of the most exciting city...

We paid extra to be in a "deluxe" room above the 19th floor. Room was old, outdated and smelled of mildew. Old brown carpets, yellow wallpaper, rusted hinges and peeling wallpaper in bathroom. Windows were filthy and you couldn't even see through one of them because it was so dirty. We took several pictures and let management know. They were...

The renovated lobby is lovely but the rest of the hotel is in desperate need of a face lift! The carpets are old and matted, the hallways need paint. Nice large rooms for a NY hotel. But no room service so bring your own snacks. Good location but so noisy! I was on the 16th floor and could still hear...

Overall it was an ok stay. The pictures online don't really look like what it does in person. If the place would just update a few of the rooms and hallways it would be much better. Everyone was very nice and the location was fantastic. Needs some updates badly though.

I have a very pleasant experience with Dolly and William today at the cafeteria. They were both courteous, polite, and friendly, which is rare in New York nowadays. They both made my day tremendously. The hotel itself is enjoyable to stay. Thanks for your excellent service.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
