Great service, beautiful rooms and the service was wonderful. All staff were helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone tourist visiting NYC. Close proximity to Broadway and many other attractions, as well as subway stations that will take you either across town, to Yankee Stadium, or the airport.

I can't say enough. The view from the R Lounge is the best in Time Square. Walking distance from many Broadway shows. The conceige Omar was so helpful. He arranged restaurants and tours. The entire experience was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

The Renaissance New York is a one minute walk from the centre of Times Square. Rooms are spacious and beautifully equipped and the views are spectacular. In particular, Omar the Concierge was wonderfully helpful with our travel plans and thank you for making our trip such a please. Would certainly recommend this hotel to anybody. OK, it's not the cheapest...

Loved this hotel, slightly liked the price. But as a hotel snob, I expected to pay high $300 for a spot in Times Square. All staff was courteous (even security smiled), but give breakfast a pass. (you can find a better one at Blue Fin for same price) Easy access to subways, theatre, shopping and general gawking. Great housekeeper, Maria,...

When we arrived at the hotel, we were a little scared by the tiny lobby but once we were taken up to our room, all doubts dissolved! The views were spectacular! The bathroom was nice and clean and had a really nice shower and fittings! The rest of the room was also great and had everything we needed! The restaurant...

Right at time square, advantage - you in the middle of time square, disadvantage, exactly that - its so crowded, millions of people....so depends what you want. Relax or be in the middle of the action. This hotel has a great lounge with a view at the time square. Decent rooms, very small lobby... Overall great stay !

The location was wonderful for a first time trip to NYC! It was nice to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle, but could not hear any of the nose from Times Square below. The staff was extremely helpful, suggesting restaurants, and taking our picture for us. The room was very comfortable and very nice decor. While I'll...

The location of this hotel is the real selling point for me, generally because when I'm travelling to New York, I'm just using it for eating and sleeping. This hotel is right in Times Square. If you step out of it and look to your right, the TKTS steps are right there. There are plenty of restaurants right near by,...

Spent a few days in New York City and decided to book something in the center of things - Times Square. While I normally prefer to be in a quieter area this was more central for what our plans were over a 3-day weekend. I've stayed many times at the Marriott Marquis - a good hotel but always seems so...

You can't beat this location. Our experience was that front desk staff and management was very unhelpful and quite rude. We were trying to rectify a billing error but were met with arrogance and horrible attitudes. On the other hand, the concierge staff was wonderful. They took the time to recommend shows and restaurants. They stopped short of making reservations...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
