Loved staying here as the location is ideal and right in the middle of Times Square. The rooms are spacious, clean, the beds are comfortable. My only issue was the elevators were slow. This hotel has great amenities and it was nice to just go...More

Love the Marriot. I feel safe, the rooms are lovely, and I'm in the middle of times square, and the theater district. The Marriot is beautiful, and the most important thing for me, a solo female traveler is safety first.

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Check with reservations on this when you book. Also, do not miss the Times Square Bar with its view of where the ball drops. It is pricey but the food and service are excellent.

The Marriott is closer to Grand Central, but wasn't that difficult from Penn Station. We arrived at Penn Station and took the 1,2, or 3 train to 42nd St. and then it was 4 blocks to the hotel. Hope this helps.
