The main reason to choose this hotel is the location. It is super convenient to any Broadway show and Times Square. The staff was kind and well trained. The property is showing its age, though, and ready for a refreshing. There were lots of minor things like the toilet requiring that "things" be pushed down to flush that didn't fit...

Location , location, location! Right in the middle of Times Square and beside the theatre district. Marriott does many things well here considering the sheer size of the place. Good breakfast offerings with good service. Rooms clean and comfortable. On the down side there's not a lot of seating space by the reception desks and dining area. We were chased...

We wanted to stay right on Times Square but not break the bank and this was perfect! We were right across the street from the Hillsong Church we attended Sunday and also the theatre where we attend the Lion King.

Whilst this in a great location it is a big hotels& the resources are often stretched - in the restaurant/cafe, the lifts and at concierge & reception. No fridge in the room. The staff are too busy to be attentive The breakfast was very ordinary for the price. Quantity doesn't beat quality! It is an old design with a facelift...

From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly and accommodating to the needs of our large family! From housekeeping on the 35th floor to the dining staff, we were created with smiles every day! Each person, from the luggage staff to table bussers was kind and helpful. We were given a comfortable stay at the property as well...

This hotel has an excellent and central location. It's huge but in spite of it, the rooms are very quiet and you can have a good rest at any time during the day. The waiters are not so efficient and friendly for the breakfast and I had to wait a long time before having my orange juice. The rest is...

Marriott Marquis is right in the heart of Time Square and Broadway. Good restaurants nearby. Perfect location. The hotel is big. I've never seen a reception so busy. Friendly staff. Many elevators from A to K but there's still a wait. It's confusing sometimes. We'd like to thank Caroline for our room upgrade and a very warm welcome. We appreciated...

The elevator system is awful. Long waits for the elevator to arrive. I got the impression the staff thought they were doing me a favour. I was there on business, I wouldn't go back on my own. They probably don't care, however.

This was our 2nd stay at Marriott in Times Square. We selected the hotel for the location and spacious rooms (3 women sharing a room, so the 2 double bed/sleep sofa set up works great). Rooms are very clean. Comfortable beds. We were able to visit the View Restaurant/Lounge after the show for dessert and drinks- amazing views. Not sure...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
