We just returned from a 4 night stay at the Blakely. We had a king suite overlooking the street. I had requested an accessible room, having recently had knee replacement surgery, but there was a mix up and I did not get it. To accommodate...More
My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights in early April. We had a one bedroom suite, which was spacious, although quite dark (the living area is an interior space with no windows). The dark wood decor and dark wood trim makes the room...More
Great location, clean comfortable and large room (stayed in a king suite). Great stay...and much less expensive than other hotels in the area. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in midtown. Location is right between Central Park south and Times Square!!
I have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Blakely Hotel, New York. The Hotel was very nice to stay in. I cannot fault the staff. They were very helpful throughout our stay. The Hotel it self was very quaint. The décor inside...More
Nice suite experience in well located spot in NYC. Perfect for families. Have stayed multiple times with kids. Only issue is small elevators which can create long waits. Hotel restaurant not impressive but there are multiple nice places to eat within a block.
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

No, we do not have a rooftop bar. Inside, we do have a bar available in our restaurant, Black Tap.
As the warmer days are soon to approach us, our concierge are more than happy to assist in some spots with rooftop views.

Yes, there was quite a bit of construction going on. I didn't notice much noise in the morning, but we are pretty early risers. One night there was work going on until about 10:00? We sleep with a white-noise machine, so it wasn't bothersome to us. If you are a very light sleeper, I would take it into account.
