An easy 2 blocks north to Central Park! And about 10mins walk to Times Square! Hotel is very clean and our room was nice...cosy. About the same size as the majority of rooms in NYC. Hotel staff were very friendly and organized anything we needed. There are plenty of places to get great food within a close walking distance. Will...

We loved our stay at the Blakely. We were upgraded to a suite for our 4 night stay. The extra room was a luxury. Noise from street on the 4th floor was fine...we could hear traffic, but it adds to the NYC experience! Bed was super comfy and room extra clean. Really no complaints! Concierge and front desk staff were...

From check in to check out, a experience to be remembered! It was a pleasure to experience a staff that were not a bunch of "Deer in the Headlight bobble heads!!!" Great Continental breakfast, close the the action, a breath of fresh air!! Not cheap, but hey, nothing is in the "Big Apple!"

Stayed here for four nights, great location with easy access to most tourist attractions. Continental breakfast was great start to the day and we never had to wait for a table for a relatively small restaurant. My only niggle was the noise from outside, the windows were just not good enough at keeping the noise out despite being on 12th...

We learned about The Blakely from a friend who told us about it, after we gave up locating a good hotel within walking distance of our daughter. We decided to book a room at The Blakely based on reviews and it's location on West 55th St. From the moment we arrived in Ny and went to check in, every staff...

Got this on booking.com. Small & older hotel but surprisingly enjoyable. Parking was right next door and discount provided. Very small lobby, but staff was extremely helpful and checked you in right away. We saw a small fitness room on 2nd floor. Our room was very clean. Bed comfy. Temperature controls were spot on. Strong shower. Breakfast complimentary in adjoining...

This hotel is really nice, quite old world charm, not a modern hotel but very clean and the staff are very helpful. We arrived at about 2pm and our room wasn't quite ready but they said we could leave our bags and come back in about an hour. We walked up to Central Park which is literally about a 10...

I would definitely reccomend this hotel for your New York stay. So much nicer than the big high rise chain hotels. Mid town location, can walk everwhere, decent breakfast included, older style decor but cozy. Rooms very nice. Feels like European hotel. Front Desk staff excellent.

Small boutique hotel. Great location, clean, comfortable room, no hustle and bustle, fair price. Will definitely stay there again! Mid-town location, walking distance to theatre district and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
