We had 2 rooms, both with 2 queen size beds. One room came complete with a DRESSER (don't they all come this way?). The other room DID NOT have a dresser. They switched rooms the next day 2 times (first one had a small dresser and the heater was stuck at 80 and wouldn't go off). The 3rd room had...

We stayed in the Hotel Edison as part of a bus tour on 11/26/2016. The whole tour was reasonable so the hotel must have been a good group rate, too. It is half block from Times Square and the back doors open to the theater where Hamilton plays. So centrally located! We arrived at 1:00 PM Saturday on a holiday...

Stayed at the Edison Hotel for 4 nights on Thanks Giving weekend. when we arrived the staff were very friendly and efficient. we were given an upgrade to a newly reburbished room. The room was on the small side, but very clean and as we didn't intend spending too much time in the room, we found it to be ideal....

I would like to thank the excellent work did by Irvin Estrella and Alex Grullon. In the evening of 27th of november I needed help from the Hotel Edison to contact the New York City Subway because an important jewelry with great value felt down inside a manhole on the sidewalk. It was necessary to contact personally NYC subway twice...

Stayed here for a week visiting New York in October 2016. The hotel in general is very tired, upon arrival we had to change rooms three times. In the first room the gap between the ac unit and the window frame was covered with tape, in the second room the bath was stained a lovely shade of yellow, the third...

My friends and I decided to celebrate our friends 60th birthday in NYC. I contacted the Hotel Edison & explained what we were doing & they went above & beyond to make our stay more special & elegant than anywhere I've ever spent a hotel stay before. From the moment we checked in, each & every one of our group...

Location was great..... But room was on the 4th floor looking out on to a brick wall and other room windows with a generator below! but it was clean and warm with a flat screen tv but the whole place is old, very old probably in keeping with the 1930's ambience and I know there is a refurbishment programme ongoing...

Stayed here 29/11 to 2/12. Excellent location. No problems with the noise..it is times square after all! Rooms a bit small but its not like you stop in your hotel room much when your in new york. Clean and tidy. Only downside was the lifts. Seemed to be 4 out of 6 working. Can take a while to find room...

Offered 6 days per week at different properties in the collection. Very personal and nice to see other neighborhoods. Love the art deco murals in the lobby. Great security for room access which is good being so close to Times Square.

Ony plus is location (times square) Room was very small. Only enough room to walk around the bed. Could just barely open the bathroom door. Glad we had a group rate and didn't have to pay full price. They did store our luggage before check in but for a price. Sleep disturbed by elevator noise in walls

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
