Spent 1 day here, rooms are dirty, staff is rude, and beds have bed bugs. Don't stay here, you will regret it.

Stayed here for 5 nights in March and found the location excellent. Not too far away from the bus or train station for airport connections, and very central. The Flatiron building is just feet away and the Empire State building is well within walking distance. Time Square is just under 20 blocks away and only took about 15-20 minutes to...

Staff was extremely rude, the room was dimly lit. The linens were old and ragged. The "concierge" did not speak engligh, charged $1 per bag, cash only, then made me carry the bag down to the storage room. The breakfast selection was terrible, you had to beg for refills. I ended up leaving and eating elsewhere. The business center was...

horrible hotel staff. treated me with a disgusting & demeaning attitude. THEY WILL NOT ONLY BE REPORTED TO CHOICE (and I'm elite diamond), but I WILL NEVER, EVER GO NEAR THIS HOTEL AGAIN. I left saying my stay was "just ok." I would rather report them to their franchise than deal with them as they clearly don't care about their...

Grandparents, parents and two boys aged 10 and 12 stayed here for 5 nights over the Xmas period, in a 'suite' - essentially 2 small connecting bedrooms (1 with QB and other 2 x DBs) with one bathroom. Very neat, clean but compact rooms. The heating was out of order but a reverse cycle aircon provided warmth (if a bit...

The Comfort Inn is old on the inside but the room I stayed in was clean but very small. It served its purpose for my stay. The parking garage was not right next door but a short walk away. It was perfectly located for myself in wanting to explore more of the Chelsea/Greenwich Village area. There are no real frills...

When I booked, I am not sure. Well, it is clean and nice surroundings. Room is clean. A lot of fun places nearby for you to go. If you want to have a drink, good places are available. I slept well. If you have someone to go with you, I think she or he will like this place too. And...

I travel on business all the time and my "regular" NYC hotel was sold out so I tried this one. Great location - can walk to restaurants and I felt very safe all the time. Courteous staff. In the morning, there were lots of European travelors at the breakfeast table and they were a bit crabby but overall, great place....

We got the 1104 room, top floor, no buildings in front of us. Empire State view from the bed. The only issue is the sleep quality because of a group of young neigbours doing a party every night. Business center $1 / 5min. Good breakfast.

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
