Stayed here for 3.5 nights. We arrived at 5am & were put on the first floor (level 2 on their lifts) & we immediately went back to change room but the night auditor was worse than useless. Lied to me by telling me the hotel was full (Expedia said 7 rooms were available) then wouldn't tell me the refund policy.... More

I have stayed at this hotel for a few days while visiting nyc a few years ago. The hotel is small, old and dim, the room we stayed in was old fashioned, which didn't really bother me while we were basically out and about all day. it was clean, tough. At the beginning there were some issues with elevator, but... More

We had low expectations, but were nonetheless disappointed. Apart from the tiny and dark rooms, we were shocked to discover how rude, unhelpful and unapologetic the staff were. We had called to pre-arrange a package delivery to the hotel, which was then rejected. This was followed by a series of unfortunate interactions on site. With the exception of one member,... More

If your looking for great location this is it!! Super affordable! My daughter and I stayed two nights to do some shopping and for broadway shows. We spent little time in our room which met our needs for the short time. The space is small but who cares!! Our room was clean, air conditioner worked and slept great. If you... More

Don't let the closeness to Central Park and Times Square sway you to book a room at this hotel. It is terrible. The elevator max load is 4 people. And takes for every to go one floor. The rooms are the size of a closet and with a double bed it is close to wall to wall bed. The bed... More

So I should start by saying that I'm not sure about the value since I have seen hostels that looked much better at the same price. Another thing to mention - this review is written after we changed the first room we got that was tiny as hell (could never fit 2 people) and smelled like mold. Pros: 1. Location... More

Very good price for NYC! Short walk to subway and Central Park. Lots of restaurants and eateries. Free bag storage before and after check out. The elevator is old, small, and slow. Room was small just like all hotels in NYC, but clean. Window air conditioner worked great. I liked it because it provided sound to block out street and... More

First time in this hotel and was expecting a little bit more quality. We got in early and left our bags. Lobby was really small, just like small European hotels in Paris or London. We got back at checkiin time, got to our room and it was not ready. The beds were squeezed into the room, but the bathroom was... More

Great location, small room, tiny bathroom, insufficient closet, some employees friendly some not so, the bed was are major issue in this hotel very uncomfortable and Incredibly noisy, every time you moved it woke you up. Between the construction on the street and the noisy bed, you couldn't get any rest or sleep.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
