Upon entering this hotel you are welcomed by a gentleman named Josh, and his co worker Marcela. I remember their names because they were warm, friendly, and helpful. The lobby is small but holds all the amenities a lobby needs including a small business area with two computers. We used Valet parking and even though it was a little confusing...

On our USA trip in May 2012, Last day before back to uk we decided to back to NY again just for one night so we wanted to stop at somewhere is affordable and in a convenient area on the other side of town that we've never been. Cosmopolitan was what you pay and what you get. My leg cramped...

I have stayed at the Cosmo several times now and it does not disappoint. Yes, it's not perfect, sometimes noisy street, slow lift, but the location and the price are great and the staff are very helpful if you need to ask them anything at all. You really can't beat having the subway right outside the hotel, 1,2,3 lines and...

I'm afraid I could not give this hotel anymore than a 2. While the location is excellent (few minutes walk from World Trade Center and subway stop just outside) the hotel itself is poor. Very small rooms which are very old and outdated, but by far the biggest problem is the noise. As others have mentioned the air-conditioners are like...

Given the location, which is about 400 yards from the 9/11 site, this is a cheap hotel when compared to others in that location. Our room was very small and the view from the window was a brick wall about 15 feet away from next doors derelict building. The air-con which is fitted to the window was quite noisy so...

I would give the hotel 3 and a half stars. Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
