This was my first time visiting New York for my 23rd birthday, and this hotel was great. Although the rooms are smaller than expected, the staff was EXCELLENT, rooms were cleaned properly.Beds were comfortable. Housekeeping made sure our room was cleaned, and I received a early check in ..

the hotel is in renovation. dust everywhere. rooms are really small and you do not have even a minibar with a bottle of water. position is ok - they do not have any breakfast restaurant and room service takes hours. WIFI sucks. Such a bad experience never never again.

Hotel location is good for downtown. Beside subway which is helpful. Noise in room due to renovations but that can't be helped. Stayed for two nights when a blizzard hit the beautiful city. My boyfriends brother was meant to join us for our visit but because of the blizzard couldn't travel. On check out I mentioned to the staff that...

Am a repeat customer. This is great value for NYC. It is a good location for Wall Street, Tribeca or Soho. The rate was reasonable the rooms are small but are finished nicely. The addition of the fitness room makes a big difference.

Place was under construction while we visited, room was very, very small, nicely decorated. Our room had 2 standard comfortable beds. There seems to be a understaffing problem since we never did see more than One person trying to keep up with the crowd . Very slow single elevator .

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
