I have just come back from a fantastic tour with ACHERS DIRECT the only drawback was this hotel mainly the staff, This is the first hotel it's for one night only so it's not to bad. But if you stay on the 2/3 extension then please book into another, you won't regret it. They seem to go out of their...

From the outside, it doesn't look very nice, but as soon as you enter, you understand that it is a good quality hotel. The staff is very nice and friendly. The hotel is about 2 blocks from Time Square which is very convenient because you don't have the noises all the time but very close to enjoy Time Square anytime...

My husband, adult son & I stayed for four nights in June. I chose the hotel because of the good reviews I saw here. We wanted to drive into the city and leave our car at the hotel. This hotel is truly minutes away from the Lincoln Tunnel. If you time your drive to avoid rush hour traffic, you won't...

We stayed at this hotel on the basis that it was the cheapest we could find without compromising too much on standards. At check in I was allocated the old wing and was concerned because so much had been said about this being inferior but the room was great. A good size and exceptionally clean with really comfortable beds and...

Having booked up our holiday, me and my partner then decided to look up the hotel (bit stupid to do it afterwards I know) and I was very concerned about how we would find this hotel considering the mixed reviews on here. We found the hotel to be very clean and quite posh. Though we barely spoke to the staff,...

The price and the location were the main factors for me to book at the Skyline hotel, despite the terrible comments available online. After checking-in we realized the location IS great: just eight blocks away from Times Square by the 49th Street, or 15 minutes to reach 42nd street, the Port Authority terminal and the theaters. There are plenty of...

When looking for a hotel in New York, we did not want to pay a huge amount of money. We looked on here and there were some mixed reviews... we are glad that we did not listen to the bad ones. This is a lovely hotel and a short walk away from Times Square. It is a very a pleasent...

Overall a nice place to stay for a value hotel. Good size rooms. Looks like they're gradually renovating. We had a nice room with two queen beds. Penthouse floor has a pool and a great view. Good places to eat within walking distance. Great location. Downsides were a slight mildew smell particularly in the bathroom and fee for wireless. Would...

Stayed 4 nights May 2012. Clean room on the 3rd floor. Two double beds, shower over bath with shower curtain. Large sink area. Small wardrobe with safe. Small fridge. Flat screen Tv. Obviously no soundproofing as we could hear people in the room above walking around early each morning (not good when it’s 5am & you’re sleeping). Also a lot...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
