Sharing an evening together with my husband just to get away for the weekend was an amazing treat! Tess, at the front desk, was pleasant both over the phone and in person. She is professional, checked in on us, and made sure we were informed of all the local hot spots to check out. A special thank you to Tess!

The best of the hotel is its placement, closest to the Chrysler building, the Grand Central Station, the UN building. Also at walking distance (30 min or less) from Saint Patrick's cathedral, MoMA, Times square, Central Park (south), and the tram station to Roosevelt Island (highly recommended trip). We got a family room: two beds of 1.35 m width, plus...

Dear GDVG, I want to thank you for providing your feedback of our property as it is necessary for us to get feedback to improve the quality of our product and service. Our location is excellent for getting around the city area fairly quickly and staying in a more quiet reserved part of New York. As for your room I...

We stayed at the Hilton Manhattan East using BA Avios points and if I'm honest that's the only reason we even considered staying this side of town. That being said the hotel is really quite nice. The rooms aren't tiny, which is a bonus for NYC and are very clean and modern. The lobby area is clean and welcoming and...

I've been to New York a few times and can happily say that this is one of the friendliest hotels I've stayed at. I chose it for the location (so close to Grand Central) but was also very impressed the service. The room was spacious and comfortable with everything you would expect from a Hilton. The lobby was decorated different...

I have stayed here 4-5 times in the last year and have usually found their rates competitive with lesser properties and rooms clean, attractive, and comfortable as expected for a Hilton. This is NYC, where rooms tend to be small and stuffy, the rooms here are above average for NYC but don't expect a huge room. They do have some...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
