I was treated like a nuisance instead of a valued guest. My room was booked by my union. Arrived after 9pm. Was told that my personal debit card was needed for incidentals. Then I was told that there was not enough money on my card to pay for my stay. (I was NEVER supposed to pay for my stay). I showed...

Great place to stay. The location is fantastic. 5-minute walk to the UN Building. 7 minutes to Grand Central Station. 10 minutes to the Public Library. 20 minutes to Times Square. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Manhattan for sightseeing. Large rooms for Manhattan standards, clean place, friendly and helpful staff. It's a really good hotel to...

I recently stayed at this hotel at the start of march 2017. The Gentleman at registration was kind enough to upgrade to me to a King Spa Room which had like an air Machine which would give out music and scents along with fresh air. I found the room to be of good size for a couple although i was...

I've been a Hilton Diamond level member for 15 years. Very surprised Hilton puts their name on this Hotel given their other nearby Hilton branded hotels offer so much more. The photos Hilton posts for this hotel are misleading. The city views are from rooms, there is no Hilton Honors lounge, no restaurant with a view of the city -...

I was a bit overwhelmed with choosing a place to stay in New York and decided to just stay where a friend was staying. I was happy I did, as this was a great place to stay. Central, nice, clean, and competitive cost wise.

Needed two rooms on short notice due to large snow event in NYC Staff was helpful in taking care of my associates who needed to arrive a day early and my personal reservations needed to be cancelled since I could not get there due to the storm

This hotel is located in a charming older building, with updated, spacious rooms (spacious for a Manhattan location), with your typical over-priced hotel food. There is limited grab-and-go food service in the hotel lobby, but breakfast sandwiches were lukewarm, and a ho-hum breafkast buffet is going to set you back $28 plus tax and tip. Several reasonably priced restaurants within...

Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Great location in New York very close to the UN building and also fairly close to Time Square. Good restaurants close by as well. Went to Osteria Laguna across the street, excellent meal.

terrible service they were tried to manipulated myself by giving me a free breakfast to apologies. Because they send me in to a standard double bed room besides a junior suite that paid and booked. they start to lie telling me stories out of sense. And didn't resolved anything at all.

The Grand Central station has held me in awe for its mythic qualities and history. The road-- 42nd street-- was two tiered for many years with the famous Tudor City anchoring the corner of East River. Of course in 1945 that spot was chosen to be the site of the United Nations and the to-tiered roads gave way to what...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
