We stayed at the Inn New York City in December and loved every moment. The Spa Suite was wonderful and the service impeccable. We stayed three nights and didn't see another soul unless we asked for something - it was like coming home rather than a hotel. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

We stayed on the top floor in the library room of this beautiful brownstone terrace in Upper Manhattan. It was quirky with lots of books, sofas to relax on in an enormous lounge room it also had a separate bedroom. The treats left in the kitchen each day were a particularly nice touch. The room was squeaky clean and staff...

The Inn New York City is a world apart from your standard hotel room. The apartments are charming and very comfortable - and extremely eclectic- in a very good way! The breakfast food is varied and copious. The hosts will do whatever you need. In our case, they rushed out to get gluten free bread for us - and they...

My wife and I stayed here the first time about 20 years ago. We were in New York for a friend's 40th wedding anniversary and booked the Opera Suite once again. This time we brought two other couples back after dinner to hear a Juilliard student play the piano in our room -- spectacular. It's a wonderful place to stay....

We spent six nights at this lovely brownstone in early October. My husband and I were visiting NYC for the first time to celebrate a combined Anniversary/Birthday. What a great place to stay. The service was superlative! Elyn greeted us the first night. We arrived late to our lovely suite (the Opera Suite) to find a nice bottle of wine...

This place was absolutely amazing. On a quiet tree lined street. Located on the Upper West Side a couple of blocks from central park. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. So safe to walk at all hours of the night.

We spent a wonderful week in the Opera Suite, delightful victorian clutter, use of the grand piano, spacious and comfortable accommodation. We ate in most nights with friends who were visiting NY at the same time and the well equipped kitchen served us well. Croissants and danish pastries were replaced daily, milk cheese, butter, wine and fresh juice in the...

We wanted to be in a brownstone as opposed to a hotel on the Upper West Side, and we got that. We got excellent service and, if we had wanted it, a kitchen and plenty of treats, including cheese and wine. The extra-large king bed was very comfortable. The decor of the Spa Suite was too cluttered and kitschy for...

I spent 8 miserable nights in the Vermont Suite. You enter into the basement of a brownstone on a dark and rather isolated, rundown segment of W 71st near West End Ave. The basement level, decorated by and for granny, contains the living/dining area, a couple of windows and a noisy air conditioner needed to run continuously to reduce the...

The quirky hotel has wonderful, large rooms furnished in kind of victorian but eclectic style, filled with books, puzzled, cds, movies, with full kitchen, dining table, and wrought iron staircase to the bedroom. We were in the basement unit with our own entrance. Pastry, fruit, yogurt, cheese, bagels, snacks, orange juice, milk, cheese.......fresh flowers all the time. I had plugged...
