This hotel is smack in the middle of time square. You are within a 15-20 walk to Central Park. 15min walk to Madison square garden. It was our first time in the big apple and the subways are easy to take and are the best form of transportation. This hotel room is very small, has a dark gothic feel to...

I thought this hotel was relatively good value for the location but the "dark" "black" night theme was not very fun after a few days. Especially if you're over 40 and your vision is going, I do not recommend this hotel for you. Yes, rooms are small but they always are in Manhattan. Yes, walls are thin; my partner on...

Many thanks for taking the time to review your stay with us. I'm sorry to see that you felt the hotel was a bit too dark. The property does have a very "gothic" feel and many of our guests tend to like the décor. Thank you for the kind words regarding the staff and the service. We pride ourselves in...

The hotel itself, is a modern gothic - great atmosphere. The rooms are a bit small; however, we were in town for entertainment, not really looking for a luxury suite. Hotel staff was very accommodating with an abundance of local information for us. Everything was clean and in working order with the exception of the cable which continuously cut in...

We have just returned for a four nights stay at The Night Hotel which was booked as a complete surprise by my boyfriend -so for once I had no control but he chose well!. The location was amazing literally on the steps of Times Square and subway. I agree the rooms were on the slightly small side but we didn't...

Location was fantastic. A stones throw from times square. We walked to local subways and attractions. The rooms we very well decorated. On the down side the rooms were tiny and very dimly lit so it was hard to make sure your make up was done ok. Also had a slight problem with the heating/air con. It was really cold...

Ideal location however room was extremely small and small window looked out into a brick wall. I was travelling with my adult son and there were no twin beds - just doubles so I had to pay extra £25 per night for a small camp bed in the room. This left no room to move or sit apart from the...

Room is small, once we opened 2 luggage there are almost no space for walk. Love the dark theme, this is one of the reason we chose this hotel, nice deco at the lobby. Walking distance to Time Square area. But very important, DO NOT MOVE the drinks in the mini fridge otherwise they will consider it's consumed. Even the...

This hotel was given such mixed reviews online. While it wasn't the nicest hotel I've stayed in, it definitely wasn't as terrible as everyone made it out to be. The superior queen room we were checked into were a lot more spacious than what people had previously described. Night Theatre District is not appropriate for anyone younger than 18 or...

Such a unique hotel. Room was so so small, the fridge was positioned in the room taking up so much space it was hard to get around one side of the bed. Loved he wall of curtains but realized quickly it was literally just a wall behind them and one tiny window overlooking a water tank on top of neighboring...

As most boutique hotels in new york, the room was rather small, but we had a great stay. Everything in the hotel is black&white designed. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The best thing about this hotel is probably the location... only steps away from timesquare... so right in the center of manhatan...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
