The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location. It's easy to get to and from the subway, there are a number of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby, Wall St. and the 9/11 Memorial sites are within walking distance, and it does have some views of the Brooklyn Bridge. We also found that it was relatively quiet with no...

Great location at the foot of Brooklyn Bridge and just a mile walk away from the 911 Memorial. Just at the bay front with an easy walk to the Staten Island ferry terminal. Nice quaint rooms. Well laid out breakfast area. Sadly the hotel was shutting down for a bit of a needed refurbishment (1 lift not working and the...

This property is simple and affordable in a market that is usually very overpriced. Clean rooms and friendly staff. The location is very close to Wall Street and the area does have more options for food / night life than I expected

This hotel was very reasonably priced on Trivago and is in a location that was both convenient for our reasons for visiting NYC AND a great spot. The Seaport area is very historic and increasingly interesting. Close to Fulton Broadway subway (with many line choices) the WTC , Brooklyn Bridge, ferry to Statue of Liberty, China Town, Little Italy etc.....

Myself, my son and his fiancee stayed here for five nights. The hotel is a bit tired and is due for a revamp, but I do hope the new owners keep it's present charm. The staff were lovely, front desk were so helpful, especially George who looked after our luggage and entertained us after checkout as we waited for our...

I was taken in by the good reviews, convenient location and decent price. But the hotel really is getting down at the heels. Mousetrap in my room (I guess better than mice) and obvious water damage on the wall and ceiling. Plus, the website is out of date (or just lying) - parking is not $20 or $30 (it said...

Our room was not the cleanest, but we had a terrace for ourselves. The cable for our TV was not working well, so we were moved to a much smaller room, with a better view. However, this room was full of mold, the toilet did not work, the door to the balcony was not closing fully and quite a few...

Had a very good impression when I first arrived. There was a very strong smell of what seems to be old perfume or body spray, in the bed when I settled for the night. To my dismay, I immediately noticed that the bed sheets and pillow cases were dirty and wrinkled . There were also hair on the sheets. It...

Unfortunately, New York is horrendously expensive. This hotel is completely acceptable for a reasonable price. It is clean, well located unless you will spend all of your time above Time Square, and quiet. Some rooms have a view of the East River. The Seaport area is being redeveloped and there are a number of bars and restaurants just outside the...
