The room was spotless, the bed was awesome. The staff is wonderful to work with even though we were on a day-to-day basis with a hospitalized family member. We had a full kitchen which was welcome after long days. A lot of restaurants and delis nearby give the area a real "New York" feel.

The location on upper East side is closest to major hospitals. The staff is extremely kind and considerate to visitors who are often under great stress. The rooms are spotless with all needed amenities. Our home away from home for many years.

Given choice of room with view of York Ave or view of the East River, we chose East River. View of river was not to be seen. that was our primary disappointment. Room was acquired to accommodate my wife while I was in NY Presbyterian hospital for surgery.

We stayed here while getting treatment at Sloan Kettering & the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and ease our way. The rooms are spacious, comfortable & clean with a full kitchen. I highly recommend this hotel.

The proximity of this hotel to the hospital makes long days and nights at the hospital during and after surgery, actually doable. The price and wonderful service makes it a no-brainer. We had a wonderful experience with different family members staying throughout the week.

Have stayed here 4 times for medical appointments. Very convenient to hospital and doctor's office. Nice staff. Rooms are suites and some have been updated. Not luxurious but fine. Restaurants and shops very close.

The nice thing about this "Hotel" is that the room we stayed in (and I think all of the rooms) have a small kitchen area. This allows you to eat in the room and save a lot of money. The room was very clean and the entire staff was friendly.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
