I unfortunately booked through "name your price" on priceline.com and I ended up with this hotel. The pro is that it's in a robust midtown area with fair walking distances to attractions. The cons are varied: 1.) For the price, it's very generic-looking and unappealing. A.) The rooms are very small with cheap-looking décor. B.) The worksmanship of the tile... More

Overnighted here and service was quick and efficient and was up to my room within 5 minutes of checking-in. Room is a okay for a single traveler in NYC as never in room anyhow and everything was there and well maintained with good Wi-Fi and TV channels for late night viewing. Location is great as in Chelsea area and a... More

Great value hotel - clean, central with friendly staff and excellent free WiFi. Within a block or two of a number of subway lines, great proximity to restaurants and takeaways and just far enough from the bustle of Times Square so its a little quieter. Small rooms perfectly adequate with comfy beds and neat bathrooms. Spend a bit extra on... More

I enjoyed my 3 night stay at this Hotel. It was central and the staff were very good. Managed to get a good price on the rooms. Not sure why people are moaning about the size of the rooms!. Who wants to stay in bed when you can explore a wonderful City.

Knowing hotel rooms in Manhattan are small but expensive, this room was "as expected". We shared the room with 3, small beds are not a problem, but it would be nice to have a decent place to stack our suitcases.... But, it is still about location, location, location. So no complaints about that. Compared to other hotels, the room was... More

i am used to small rooms but this was silly small for $325/night i did not think there were still smoking rooms and the hotel should let you know before you get put up in one. Wallpaper was peeling in the corners and tiles in bathroom were loose and falling- curtains did not fully close allowing in too much light... More

Hi RogerZ - Thank you for your feedback. I was actually able to locate your reservation. I show that you booked via a Travel Agent, and the room was originally reserved as a smoking king bedded room, which you received. I apologize that we were not able to accommodate you in a non-smoking room. Please feel free to reach out... More

First of all the location of the hotel is great for tourists. It is situated in a location that you can actually split your sightseeing. You can have 1 day to go to the lower Manhattan and then the following day to start moving to Midtown. So you were just in the middle making it relatively easy to walk to... More

I got fed-up trying to make Manhattan hotel reservations, after two days of emails and web-searching and finding that the week I was planning to go there the rates were increased everywhere... I finally defaulted to the simplicity and risk of blind-bidding. I bid $205 for 5 nights at a hotel within the Chelsea boundary, and was saddened to end... More
