I love this hotel. This was my second stay in 3 months. I came back again because the first time was so pleasant. Clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Several restaurants within a couple blocks.

The hotel is located perfectly so you can get to upper and downtown within 20min via cab. The reception is nicely decorated but the rating stops there. My room was a Queen size and the website pictures made it look very spacious but quite the opposite. I travelled in Jan 2017 and the weather in NYC was about 4 degrees...

Great location, but rooms are poorly lit and furnishings seam weathered and outdated. I think it's time for a new look! Bed was very uncomfortable and my heater was not working well. I have stayed here many times, but it is mostly because of the location and not necessarily the accommodations.

This was my second stay at the Empire Hotel, and I will definitely be back. The room was a very nice size for a NYC hotel room. The ample window coverings made the room completely dark regardless of the time of day. The shower was amazing as well. I received a quick response from the manager for the only small...

I stay at the Empire 3 or 4 times a year, and I always enjoy my stay. The rooms are smallish, but that's pretty common in NYC hotels. They are clean and nice, the staff is very friendly, and the location is great!

Beyond its terrific Lincoln Square location facing Dante Park and Lincoln Center, the Empire Hotel has two wonderful features that no other place has – Front Office Manager Daria Odintsova and Bellman Chris Goetke – each of whom immediately and expertly welcomed us upon our first arrival and both of whom worked swiftly, practically, insightfully, and tirelessly to make both...

Stayed here on a weeknight in mid January. Nice clean room. Most of the furnishings were in good condition. Room was very small but a very good value. Bedding was crisp and clean. Bed was comfortable and had nice pillows, two different types one more firm, the other softer like a feather pillow. Interior of bathroom door had pealing of...

Stayed here for two nights. Seemed fine on the first night, however, on the second night I was bitten by bed bugs. Packed up my things and checked out immediately after reporting the situation to the front desk staff.

I believe that the hotel is the most convenient place if you came from out of town to enjoy the MET production or came to see a ballet, listen to a classical music or anything else The Lincoln place has to offer! We liked the hotel, the service was friendly, the room good. We didn't have problems with amenities in...

Very quick check in and staff very friendly and helpful. Upgrade on arrival..The hotel is older style and most areas a bit tired which I don't actually mind as it has character I guess. Throwback to the 70s. The room is ample, the toilet tiny but great shower. Room serviced every day. The heating in room gets very noisy due...
