We stayed for the Thanksgiving Weekend of 2016 and I had 15 in our group. The hotel staff was very accommodating to our needs - we LOVED the fact that there was a subway station location right outside the front door for easy access to the city. We had a hallway light out in our room and the housekeeping staff...

Service, cleanliness, etc was all great. Hotel is well run with friendly staff. Only issue was the bed which turned into a sinkhole overnight so that I woke up sleeping in a hole in the middle of the bed. It look like someone had taken a wrecking ball and dropped it in the middle of the bed. Need to replace...

Good points: Quite clean and in excellent condition. Room was a bit bigger than I expected (but "spacious" is not a word you'd use). Good price for this part of town. A/C/E subway entrance is about 70 feet from the Hilton's front door. Several good restaurants nearby. Front desk staff were helpful. Housekeeping staff were on top of their game....

Provided what we needed for a quick in and out of the city. The location is super fun. The rooms are basic but very clean. The staff was amazingly very helpful and cheerful. There is valet parking available.

I'm going to say honestly that this review could have went very badly. When I arrived my friend was already there and apparently one of the staff members had treated him and not a nice fashion. I would hope that this was more a social issue and not a racial issue so that's all I'm going to say about that....

Great place to see Tribeca from! I would recommend this to others!!! The hotel staff was courteous and very accomodating. Valet parking was great - we pulled right up to the front of the hotel and were able to quickly offload and check in (Bear in mind, this is NYC). The room was just right for our needs - business...

If you have the chance to select a room, go for x13 thru x29. These face Avenue of the Americas and have the best view. We were in 629 which is an odd shaped room at the south end of the building...slightly larger room with excellent view. As to the ho hum - lobby bathroom was not very clean and...

I have been staying at this hotel for the last three years. Its convenience and proximity to my office were my primary reasons for staying here, but after the staff helped me recover some lost items when I had to leave abruptly, I feel extremely grateful to the excellent staff of this hotel.

This hotel met our needs although the room was small for three of us. I picked it for location and budget and it was good for both reasons. The staff were friendly and accommodating while we and they struggled to deal with Winter Storm Stella. The subway stop a few steps away makes it very convenient and its location on...

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
