Elevators had issues almost every day, room cards stopped working, no tea and coffee facilities in the room, disinterested response to my feedback at the front desk. The only positive was the location - short walk to Times Square, Central Park etc.

This is a nice enough place I guess, nicely remodeled , very modern rooms. Not something you usually see in New York. My room is even some what spacious, and very clean. Also not something you usually see in New York. Ordinarily I would give it four stars,,,,but I was disappointed in the food and service. Notably....probably a fifteen minute...

Room was okay a bit outdated. Location was great right in mid-town. Issues with cleansiness of room, dental floss on floor when I checked in. Bathroom door was "tilted" or leaning and kept closing 1/2 way after opening the door. Layout was such that if you opened the door to use the sink, when turning around the door would be...

I really expected more of a Hilton. It is very well located and you can sleep well but that is all you get. There's not even coffee in your room. At least the staff is friendly. It is close to museums and broadway, Rockefeller Center and so on. That is a plus.

Yesterday there was a mouse in my hotel room at Hilton Midtown. I saw it run across the floor three times. The reaction from the hotel staff was not reassuring, to put it mildly. Yes, eventually they offered me a new room. But the bell boy never showed up and I needed to move my luggage between the rooms myself....

The hotel was generally fine. Hotel staff were friendly. I made a request for an item to be brought to my room and it was fulfilled quickly. The room was reasonably quiet although occasionally there was a loud noise, perhaps from the plumbing. The only real downside was that the breakfast buffet in the restaurant was too expensive at $45....

Looking for something close to Times Square and most of the broadway theatres? Then this hotel is for you. A bit on the pricey side but you have the ability to walk to a lot of attractions or hop on the subway.

My 10y son and I stayed in this hotel for 8 nights last month. The first 4 nights was at standard room. The room was spacey but the facility is bellow standard for a hilton. No coffee maker/hot water pot, no refrigerator, very plain and old room. The second half of the stay was at executive floor/room. Room is much...

Stayed for three nights as a result of Priceline bid. Was able to upgrade the reservation upon arrival to newly remodeled suite with two beds for $40 per night more.Still quite a bargain for added comfort! Front desk was extremely friendly and accommodating. Found hotel to be very busy but tolerable. Location is fantastic, room was clean, all common areas...

This huge midtown hotel is just too big. We have been told that it has more rooms than any other hotel in New York City, and I believe it. The staff was very nice during our two night stay this weekend, but it's just too impersonal a place. Despite my being a Gold member of their loyalty program, I was...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
