This was a beautiful hotel. I would recommend this for anyone in the Midtown New York area. Conveniently located close to Radio City Music Hall, Fifth Avenue, and other areas of interest. Hotel service was great, rooms were beautiful, and dining options were great.

This hotel was very accommodating during our stay for Thanksgiving! Check-in was very efficient. Nadeem at the help desk was especially helpful to us as first time visitors in New York. I would highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed at the midtown Hilton for 4 nights over Thanksgiving. The hotel was sold out and like a zoo a couple days before the parade. Despite that, service was still good. Rooms on top floors (HHonors floors) are renovated and very nice. Other rooms need some updating. Only complaints: very long and painful check-in process, long waits for elevators.

Front desk staff was excellent - very accommodating. The hotel had a difficult time managing the large crowd. Long lines in the executive lounge, at check in and at the elevators. Be prepared to spend a lot of time waiting if you stay here during a peak time. Room was very nice, very clean -great location

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were there for the Macy's Parade and had a good view from our room. The staff is awesome and we were very comfortable. We had breakfast in our room and it was way overpriced for what we received, but other than that our stay was great!

It's a very large hotel. The ratio of reception staff to room number seems off. There was always a long queue at the reception whenever I passed it. The rooms, though comfortable needs refreshing. It's dated, certainly not designed for travelers with multiple gadgets. There's no power sockets near the bed. The soundproofing is also problematic. I could hear the...

We stayed here for Thanksgiving week, as part of a large group (Spirit of America) for our daughter's participation in the Macy's parade. We stayed on the 14th floor. GOOD: Nice room; good closet and drawer organization; safe for valuables; pull-out table; large flat-screen television, excellent shower with good water pressure and hot water, very comfortable beds, quiet rooms. NOT-SO-NICE:...

This is your basic Hilton in my opinion. There are much better luxury or boutique hotels nearby BUT if your goal is to be on the Macy's parade route AND see the parade from your room, this is the place to be, the Thanksgiving package is pricey and you must book early so plan ahead. I would recommend a room...

My wife and I stayed there for week on 17th November 2014 for a combined convention and our 25 th wedding anniversary. There was poor communication between the hotel, the reservations office (based in the Phillipines) and the convention organisers. The convention block booking, with a mere $10 discount, had the smallest rooms all near the elevators. The front desk...

My husband and I made a reservation and asked for a king room. When we arrived it looked nice from the outside, but we noticed a lot women in the lobby that appeared to be hookers trying to pick up customers. We were only booked for one night so we turned a blind eye. When we tried to check in,...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
