My wife and I just spent the Christmas Holidays in New York and our choice of hotels could not have been better. From the time we checked-in, we were well taken care of by Josette at the Theater Desk along with Jackie at the Concierge, we were pampered. Our room on the 39th floor was spacious and a perfect view...

Our first trip to New York couldn't have picked a better location for hotel, everything within walking distance (Times Square, Rockefeller Center, MOMA, 5th Avenue, Madison Avenue, Chrysler Building and of course Central Park). We stayed over Christmas, hotel clean beds comfortable hotel staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel for location - short walks to subway for Statue...

I was dissatisfied with the restaurant options at this hotel. There was only a take out area, or the bar, which just had a few mediocre food options. We would have enjoyed a casual table service restaurant. We wanted to entertain friends and mobility was an issue. Other then that, the room was nice and the lobby area very busy,...

The hotel was excellent except for the problems with the elevators. The location was very convenient to everything in Manhattan. I would not hesitate to stay there again. The hotel is located a few blocks from Central Park.

The location is excellent but the Hotel is getting old and shabby, rooms are desperate for a revamp! No turn down service and bad replacement of shampoo, towels etc. The line for the breakfast is long and the breakfast not great. We were travelling with Honours guests and on some days they stood for 10-15 minutes trying to get into...

I have stayed here 3 times, Its very busy because of the Great Location. Staff is very nice. But the elevators kept breaking and during the Xmas rush, it took a long time to get an elevator to your floor or going down to lobby.

This was an absurd stay at the Hilton. After booking 2 double beds several months in advance we get to the hotel and they give us one queen bed. There are 4 of us. They said they would provide us with a full size bed. Several hours later, after midnight, the bed still hadn't arrived. We called down to ask about...

First let me say that this hotel, even if a little busy due to location, is perfectly fine for the average traveller in New York. Some may say I'm nitpicking, but this is a review for the above average traveller. It's a Hilton in New York City, you don't need me to tell you it's perfectly fine. Those who travel...

Hilton has a lot of hotels in NYC but. We like this one best. why? It's walking close to the theater district, MOMA, Rockerfeller Center, Carnegie Deli, and a lot more. it's BIG but has great service and a nice executive lounge. It also houses a two floor grand vacations section which offers other amenities to members. concierges are very...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
