I was here on business. The hotel is in a great location in midtown. I found it convenient to everything. Within easy walking distance to all the sights. The room was clean and surprisingly large for a New York hotel. Like Starbucks? There are two right across the street. Great New York City option.

Hilton is so generous to their at least Gold members. You are allowed access to their executive lounge and get upgraded as soon a higher level of room is available. Nice to be loyal to this Hilton group of hotels.

Our room was clean, it was on the parade route. After the parade the elevators were packed and slow. Yes I would stay again. GREAT location. The café had good food. Never could get the internet to work.

This is a busy hotel but check in was quick and efficient and a request for non feather pillows had been met. We were in a brilliantly quiet room (?3031), with a distant view of Central Park. We had to keep the curtains shut on one side as we looked straight into offices, which is to be expected in a...

The location of this hotel is ideal for tourists in NYC. It's in the heart of midtown, in walking distance to Broadway, Central Park, the MoMA, and Times Square, or a short walk to almost any subway station you'd need to go uptown or downtown. The hotel is huge and the lobby always seemed to be full of people (granted,...

Location is great. Check in staff, also great. Room....no coffee/tea. Tub plug didn't work / shower only. Room service felt like it was a victim of drastic budget cuts. Met some friends for a drink. We got our beverages at the bar, wandered over to a nearby table to sit down, and were told by the waiter working that section...

I know that's a rough title, and I'm normally pretty forgiving, and I have stayed at lot of hotels, but I don't think I've stayed somewhere where not only the rooms and price were bad but the staff were also terrible. What was fab? * Location * Quality toiletries What was drab? * Front desk staff were very rude *...

This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in NYC. It is close to everything! Rooms, lobby, restaurants were very clean. Rooms were very spacious. The only negatives were no refrigerators or coffee makers. Other than that, the floors were extremely quiet and we never heard the traffic outside. We always get in by 7 am and...

No coffee pot in the room is a dealbreaker for me. Room service is slow and expensive. Having to go to the lobby every morning to get coffee is ridiculous. The next time we come to New York City I will be checking other hotel options.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
