Thanks for reaching out, Katie! We don’t charge any facility fees. However we do authorize $50 per night for incidentals, which will be refunded if you do not use any incidentals. Please let us know if you have any other questions! Have a wonderful day!

Location - walking distance to most attractions AND FOOD. Very friendly and professional staff. Hotel interior is impecably designed, with blown glass and metal accents throughout. Room was clean and newly renovated. Beds were quite comfortable ( and I am 9 months pregnant with back problems). Yes, there was an issue with hot water pressure, but it was temporary, and...

This is the quietest midtown hotel that I have ever stayed at. Our room was right over Lexington, but I did not hear a thing all night. I was disappointed that there was no breakfast option for gold or platinum on the weekend, as that is an amenity that I have gotten used to as a rewards member. Otherwise, it...

Three of us met in NYC to catch a cruise. This hotel was recommended as a good location and it was! Our first room was the double bed version, and for three grown ups it was tight. So we asked if we could upgrade to queens or get a couch. We were given a great room, no view, but plenty...

This hotel was in a great location, within walking distance to many shops, attractions and restaurants. The main lobby and entrance was very clean and welcoming, with very nice decor. The part that I wasn't thrilled with was the price, we paid over $600USD a night for a basic room for 3 people with two double beds. The room had...

No hot water and I have an interview this morning. Front desk said it's because everyone is taking a shower at the same time. Really? What a surprise. Showers in the morning? Get the basics right, including hot water heaters sufficient to support the size of the hotel.

We had a mixed experience at the 57th St Renaissance. Plusses: Location: Excellent! Steps from Bloomingdales, not far from Central Park, and near good bus service. Staff: Also excellent! We found everyone warm, hospitable, friendly, and competent. Room: Had everything necessary. Thermostat actually worked, too. Minusses: Room: Tiny. Just about enough room to get around the bed. Also, as a...

I travel to NY about once a month and decided to give this Renaissance a try due to it's proximity to my mid-town office. I stayed all of last week. Overall, the hotel was okay. However, there were several issues that will make think twice about staying here again ... *first and foremost was the hot water issue. I actually...

The location was our reason to choose this hotel. The staff is friendly and very professional. The restaurant/ bar is quite good. Our room was small but clean, well appointed, and very quiet. Car parking is awkwardly offsite but nicely handled by the hotel staff. Transportation is a strong point to the location, with subway and bus service nearby and...

This was my second stay at this Marriott property. The first was for business with a midnight arrival and 6:00 AM departure. The hotel is fine for this type of stay. For anything longer I would recommend a nearby Courtyard as a better option as the rooms at the Renaissance are small and amenities are minimal. Check in via web...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
