It's in a great location, between 3rd and Lexingron. In found the room was a good size and the staff were very helpful. Having a gym is important to me and there's a basic gym with a couple of running/cycling machines and a few free weights.

If you had told me I could find a luxurious hotel for under $200 in a safe area and was bigger than a postage stamp, I'd have said you were crazy. I was more than pleasantly surprised by the Fifty. The room was larger than most city apartments (two closets, even!), the bed was heavenly and the staff was impeccable....

Room was cramped, though the beds were comfortable. Amenities were minimal. On the positive side, it's a pet friendly hotel, and while adults get only 2 glasses in the bathroom, our dog had a lovely food and water bowl set. Staff was most helpful with requests.

Superb location. Room was large and easily accommodated me, my wife and my daughter (on the sleeper couch in the lounge). Self catering was a huge advantage as we are strictly Kosher. Problem was that only 1 elevator was operational which was an inconvenience. Probably time for a refurbishment. Overall a great stay.

The hotels location is great! Lots of restaurants close by and the subway stations. The hotel rooms are very roomy for a NYC. Check in and out was very easy and pricing very reasonable. Would definitely go back!

The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Front desk is nice they just won't tell you all the details of what the facility fee ($25 daily) is for. 3 persons gave us 3 different answers and there was no guidance on exactly what it entails. It seems you can access the lounge on the second floor, there is a wine...

Stayed 12 nights at the Affinia Fifty in Mid Town NYC in Dec 2016. Overal this is a good hotel in NYC and a good mix of quality for the price. Probably the best mix of quality and price. The rooms were apartments , which means they are a lot bigger than others, particularly in NYC. We had two queen...

I've stayed in this hotel 3 times in the past. I was very pleasantly surprised with the renovation. We stayed in a Junior suite, with balcony. So roomy! A very large NYC hotel room. The check in at the front desk was fast, easy and pleasant. Housekeeping was good. I will stay here again

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
