Hotel has a Wonderful Staff & Great Location. We used public transportation. Hotel is near Penn Station, the bus from DC & the 5th, 6th & 7th avenue buses. Our room was roomy & clean. Breakfast was average with limited seating.

Room small but comfortable and clean. Great location and super friendly staff. Great breakfast. I suggest you to install channels, international TV and bar fridge in the room. The next trip to New York will be booking this hotel and recommend it to everyone. The location is very central. Very Good

The staff stands out here. They are so friendly and accommodating, I was very pleased. They gave me water every time I asked for some and one of the gals went back and got me a hot cookie right out of the oven. The cookie was heavenly. This hotel meets Hampton Inn standards. The room was nice and modern and...

Hotel rooms are on the small side but clean and smart. The breakfast room gets crowded but the food was good. Station only a couple of minutes away so handy for that. Not too keen on that end of Manhattan.there were a lot of homeless sleeping on the street. Our room was next to the ice machine and I asked...

Just two blocks from Penn Center so easy access. Hotel is set back a little from the street so slightly hidden till you get close. Only 8 rooms on each floor but 19 stories. Rooms make use of every inch of space and are quite comfortable. There is a coffee maker but no micro or fridge. Breakfast area a little...

The shower curtains were definitely traditional Hampton Inn, as was the little lap desk. But the rest- none of that boring stuff you get out on those highway locations. This place was rocking with really neat colors and decor. Red! Great job folks. And all was spanking new and worked. No funky smells or weird stains like so many NYC...

There are several branches of the Hampton Inn in New York City. This one is on Madison Square Garden. The hotel is situated between 6th and 7th Avenue on W31st street. It's location is superb as it is a short walk away from Penn station and the Penn Subway/metro station. Great value for money that included breakfast and unlimited internet...

If you need to be near Penn Station / Madison Square Garden / Herald Square, then this Hampton is your spot. Very, VERY convenient --- just off 6th at 31st. Rooms are tighter than the other Hampton Inns in midtown and the internet is HORRIBLE --- but it IS clean, quiet, and very well located.

We showed up at 2:45 pm with a prepaid reservation through hotels.com and Marisol, having a bad day, decided to be rude to us for no good reason. Checkin time is 3 PM, and so we assumed we might have to wait for a room and so when she said curtly that she had no room (after having given a...
