Had an excellent experience with my girlfriends at the Soho House in Manhattan where we had dinner and used the rooftop pool. This place is extremely well-run. The food and drinks are top notch as well. Service is unparalleled. The spaces are also generous yet an intimate feel. I highly recommend Soho House New York!

Every time I visit New York I stay in Soho House... just just so god dam good. The rooms are great, the food is fab, and the Sunday Brunch is epic. The location is perfect for getting everywhere and the restaurants and clubs around it are really great. few things: 1. Always book for Sunday brunch 2. Try to get...

The rooftop restaurant is fun. But the food is overpriced, not too good, and the service is absolutely abysmal. We had to ask to order. We had to ask 3 times for the check. And waited a full half hour to pay. This place needs a management shakeup.

We love staying at Soho House properties, my wife and daughter are both members and we all really love the vibe of the club. The new york property is more like a club with rooms rather than a hotel with club facilities (Miami and Istanbul as examples of hotels) Great location and felt like being at home. Lovely staff ....

I'm a big fan of the soho house group and so it was no surprise that the New York house was brilliant. A very cool building. Staff were great & we had a lovely breakfast with attentive service and quality food. You do have to be a member to get in but if you have a friend in town that...

I've come to really love the Soho House group - like the Berlin house, the New York Soho House is in an awesome location (in the middle of the Meatpacking District), the rooms are really thoughtfully appointed, with lots of great little vintage pieces, the amenities provide everything you could want, and the common areas are great places to hang....

A friend took my wife and I for lunch here recently and it was our first visit to Soho House. It has a lovely setup and ambience and the food and service was lovely too. We had the buffet lunch and there was plenty of good choices.

We came here to meet a colleague and ended up having a working dinner. Food was really good. Service was a little 'laid back' to be kind but the food was worth it. Has the edge on London for me as it's a little 'cooler'!

Relaxed atmosphere, divine decor..but this is the Soho House so it is expected and it does deliver! The feeling of being spoilt comes to mind..great location..great huge rooms..no stone left unturned ..great launching pad for a night on the town..With the added bonus of a fabulous Sunday brunch..for that pesky hangover.. Roof top fun..worth every cent!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Soho House NewYork in The Club Room in 2014 and stayed again for our anniversary in 2015. It's a very cool hotel in a very cool part of New York City. Staff are great, can't do enough for you and the rooms are simply stunning!! Hope to be back in 2016!!

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
