I found this hotel to be clean, though the bed was a bit uncomfortable. The noise-reducing window cushion didn't make a difference and the room was too warm (you can't adjust the room temp below 65 degrees). However, the staff was friendly (I didn't bother mentioning the noise or uncomfortable room) and the breakfast in the morning (especially the granola...

Great location, friendly staff, room was perfect for my quick weekend trip. Will stay there again next time I need to stay in NYC. Having the free continental breakfast was a lovely perk as well at La Sirena.

I love this place. It is completely laid back, comfortable and friendly. Just great service, beautiful rooms and wonderful attention to detail. The bedding is gorgeous, the shower phenomenal and porthole windows a delight. Thoroughly loved my stay and promise to return.

Friendly hotel away from the mid town skyscraper glamour and bustle. Ideal spot to visit the village areas of New York such as Chelsea and Soho. Short walk to the Highline with its elevated walkway above the roads providing a great recreation area for New Yorkers in a park type setting. Almost opposite the Chelsea Market with its exciting buzz...

The hotel is situated in the coolest area in NY at the moment! It is across the street from the Chelsea Market, a walk away from the Highline, Greenwich Village and the Witney Museum. The hotel has clubs in an and around it which makes this hotel very lively at night. The decor is excellent especially in the lobby! The...

This place is so beautiful with great attention to details in design. Location is excellent and provided toiletries are good. Breakfast is great but other issues outweigh the positives. The bed was miserable. It made loud noises when you move and was hard with no box springs. Sheets were low quality as was the TP and facial tissue.

I went to the restaurant which was beautiful and we sat inside, with beautiful Decour, and the drinks were absolutely delicious. We went during the day so it was not crowded inside and it was a great place to sit and relax.

What an amazing hotel. I don't even know where to begin; the interior design, the location, the staff? Which should I focus on? The interior design of the hotel is what first hits you when you enter through the unassuming side door entrance off of 16th Street. It is like walking into a ship's library. There are cozy seating areas...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
