Room was spacious by New York standards and fairly well appointed. Beautiful wooden floors and a claw-foot bathtub. Lacked a few small details like power outlets for a laptop and USB sockets (had to move the side table and unplug the lamp to get to it). Bedding could be more luxurious, it's a bit rough and cotton based. Service was...

It was very dark in all the reception rooms and even the room. There were no adequate drawers either. On the other hand the location was excellent and the food in the restaurant quite good although on Thanksgiving the service was annoyingly slow, but not on other days.

First time here. We love the location, and the cool vibe in the lobby and bars. The rooms are nice, nothing over the top, not modern, not new, but, very nice. We had a claw foot tub in our room, pretty cool. The library bar and dining area is a beautiful, warm and cozy room that is reserved for hotel...

Just returned from my first stay at the Nomad. Overall I had a great visit. I had a small corner suite that was spacious, with tons of character. I liked the location of the hotel, since I spent time both in Midtown and in the Village, so it was convenient to both. The area around the hotel has really progressed...

I was in New York for business trip, and stayed at Nomad hotel which I really liked. First of all the hotel is awesome. Every detail looked trendy and you can feel that this is the place where it is happening. The staffs were really friendly. I asked if they can book me a soulcycle class and they were real...

Could not be happier, a paragon of hospitality and service within a trendy heart of the city. Amazing restaurant and bar, be sure to visit the library straight from a romance novel. Gorgeous beyond words.

We stayed as a family. The decor is very interesting, dark and edgy. It has a top rated restaurant but didn't get a chance to try it. Good location with a subway station just opposite. Rooms a little small but has a wonderful range of toiletries. Good for couples Singapore

This hotel is really special and beautiful. From the moment we were greeted by the bellman- and the front desk staff I felt right at home. Everyone is more than accommodating. We booked a suite which was stunning- it was beautifully appointed with a living room and huge window in a circular bedroom with a clawfoot tub in the bathroom....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The NoMad Hotel is housed in a turn of the century Beaux-Arts building that has been fully restored to its original grandeur with interiors by French designer Jacques Garcia. The hotel is intended as a fresh take on the classic grand hotels of Europe with a distinct New York sensibility. The design of the hotel was inspired by the Parisian flat of Garcia’s youth. The 168 rooms are residential in feel and decorated in his classic, timeless style. Each room is appointed with hand-selected, richly textured custom-designed furnishings and original artwork. The soaring ceilings throughout the public spaces provide a fine gathering place to enjoy dining, drinking and socializing. ... more   less
