The Out is a gem! The staff is very friendly. The hotel is in a great location close to Times Square and Broadway but away from the chaos. Safe neighborhood with plenty of reasonable restaurants nearby. The outdoor courtyards are my favorite! On a sunny day, you can sit outside right in the middle of Midtown. Cannot recommend this hotel...

The room was very basic with only 1 plastic chair to sit on, other than the bed. The room looked out onto the courtyard and had a picture window. We had to keep shades drawn at all times since people walking by could look into the room. This made the room dark and unappealing. The bathroom was okay but the...

Went for a makeup show over the weekend with my daughter and friend. Staff was really friendly and helpful we even got there before the check-in time and they kept our luggage in order for us to explore the city, walk around and they allowed us to come back to do the check in afterwards. Hotel was very clean with...

Great location just off Times Square, great facilities and very friendly staff! "Straight friendly" and it certainly was! It did however get extremely noisey on an evening due to the nightclub underneath... our bed was jumping off the floor at some points! Not great when you need some shut eye as your jet lagged :(

The location was ideal, and pics looked great, and was a deal....lesson learned. Front Desk Customer Service was not so great, Maintenance had to come to my room and fix the tv 4 times, hairs on the sheets, duct tape on the walls, and a curtain held together with a large file clip, water had to run for quiet a...

Being a professional traveler I have to say this hotel rating is a lot different from reality. I made the mistake in booking a shared room. The room was awful: carpet is old, tv is small and remote control, shower and toilet clogged. It was worse than a hostel. Location is just ok. Btw, they shouldn't mix men and women...

Very strange vibe. Everything very dark, TV didn't work, water cooler in weight room didn't work, rooms very noisy and all open to outside courtyard. Lobby looks nice. No real closet (hang clothes in bathroom). Would never consider staying here again! Tried to cancel as soon as got to the room, but was prepaid so couldn't! Location was okay for...

Stylish hotel, big room, very clean, friendly staff. Small walking distance to Broadway and Time Square, everything is easily accessible. The hotel seems to be quite new. The gym is just perfect, very big and great equipment. For those looking for party it´s a perfect location, at night very noisy though as there is a nightclub in same building or...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
