We stayed at the Hudson for 4 nights a week or so ago and whilst the public areas are perfectly fine the rooms are something else . I had read the reviews and was expecting small rooms however even I wasn't prepared for how small it was ! There was barely anywhere to hang clothes and absolutely NO drawer space...

I knew, after reading previous reviews that we were taking a gamble. The location is great for Central Park, Times Square, Hell's Kitchen etc and there are amenities right on your doorstep such as coffee, food and essentials. However the hotel itself has some issues which seem long standing and fairly chronic judging by the other reviews I read on...

Entrance to hotel is inconspicuous but interesting. Once you enter the building you are greeted by a long escalator that drops you off at at the lobby with large offset chandelier above thd front desk. The room was relatively small with 30 inches on either side of the queen size bed (However it was very clean). The bathroom is extremely...

This "Hotel" is just like a hostel with a fancy lobby. The rooms are cheap and the windows so old my head gets a steady draft of cold air. The bathroom is spacious but the shower has no water pressure, the water only gets luke warm water on the hottest setting and the towels smell disgusting. Don't let the pictures...

The hotel itself is really nice with an amazing lobby. It is a bit peculiar to get inside when there is no doorman to guide you (we first thought we were at the wrong location, as it looks more like a business center entrance). The room itself was nice, but very small. The queensize bed was very small and although...

My hotel room was dirty-used condom under the bed near the plug, hair in the sheets and in the shower, water on the floor in the bathroom and under the hardwood., and my hotel room phone did not work.

We stay at the Hudson every time we visit NYC, up until our latest visit in Feb 2017 - it seems the hotel has massively gone downhill since our previous visit in Feb 2016. Forgetting how small the rooms are, we asked if it was possible for us to upgrade (willing to pay additional charge obviously) and the receptionist simply...

I remember my first stay at the Hudson when it had just opened. Everything was crisp and fresh. Now the cheap is overulling the Chique in the 'Cheap Chique' designer hotel that once was unique in its kind. This hotel is starting to look and feel tired and needs to be pumped with some fresh design and style to keep...

Uncared for looking and feeling hotel. Staff don't see to care much although I don't blame them as I think mostly they spend their time dealing with complaints. I was aware of the small room sizes but was still surprised at how small when we arrived! Small and poorly lit - the dark wood doesn't work at all in such...

An unexpected pleasure. It's a small building very close to the Lincoln Tunnel. The staff was very friendly. The room was small but not by New York standards. It was very cozy and clean. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
