I have stayed in many New York hotels and this is by far my favorite. From the moment you walk in, you are transported to a special place. The rooms are huge (by NYC and other large city standards), the service impeccable and the location is out of this world. The restaurant is pretty darn good too. There are not...

The hotel is very centrally located, close to subway and handicap accessible station is 2 blocks away. We didn't eat at the restaurant but looked great. Internet was fast, and housekeeping was great. Upon early arrival they not only let us check in early, but let us pick between two rooms that were ready. We got to view each and...

Nice property. Nice location. We had a suite, so there were two TV sets. Both did not work. The engineers came up several times and told us that it was a system problem. The hotel credited us for our trouble, but it was definately an inconvenience. Noise level from above was very bad. Jumping off beds, loud screams, etc. I...

After staying in Washington in the St Regis, we stayed a couple of nights in the Benjamin. They are unfortunately not in the same league... Beautiful hotel with very cozy rooms. The pillow menu is awesome (but we didn't even need it). I sunk right into the bed, burrowed underneath the comforter and was out. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
