Matt Smock at front desk did a wonderful job with an efficient, friendly and professional check in! The location was ideal, near shopping, restaurant and Penn station, as i have to commute. The staff were very friendly and front desk supervisor Grace was super helpful!

Great place! Small but well appointed rooms. Loved Raul -our concierge! He was so kind and helpful. The rooftop bar was simply THE best. Perfect view of Empire State Building! Breakfast in lobby was wonderful as well as the two ladies (sorry forget names!) who were there am of 9/23. Our waiter on rooftop 9/22 was great too! I'd go...

The Hyatt herald square is located in a nice location and is easily accessible. The staff at hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms in the hotel are very small and slightly crammed. While they have done their best to provide everything in the room, it left no space to maneuver around the room. Also when you stay at...

The Herald Square area is quiet for New York. The staff is really genuine, treating the customer very well. The rooftop bar is one of the best in NYC with great views of the Empire State Building and a bar stocked with craft spirits and a team of bar tenders that know what to do with it.

In NY is very difficult to find value for money.... and this hotel is on the low side... 1) small and pricey room - hardly any space to walk around at 430 USD + taxes and not including breakfast 2) average service at restaurant... 3) tiny gym

Although not advertised that way, this is similar to a hyatt place, but with much smaller rooms. It is below the quality of most other hyatt hotels . Great location overall, but not a great value. noisy AC in rooms.

Matthew at the front desk took great care of us despite an issue with Hotwire (we thought we'd booked a room with 2 beds. Not the case.) We arrived late on Friday night and he upgraded us to a room with 2 queens and city view. We made it in time to grab a drink at fabulous rooftop. Will definitely...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
