Great little hotel right in Rockefeller Center. Walking distance to Times Square, Central Park, Columbus Circle. Smallish room but to be expected and I had a great nights sleep. Nice front desk checkin. Very sweet and helpful staff.

As in the title, the hotel indeed faces Rockefeller Center, and is minutes' walking from all the large chain-stores on Fifth Ave. The front desk is friendly, helpful, and efficient. There are two elevators, but if you are assigned to the 15th floor, you must take the elevator to the 14th floor, then transfer to another elevator to go up...

The location was great, very close to the subway, an easy walk to central park and Times Square and the price at which I scored this room was unbelievable. I was not doubtful because I had already read many good reviews and it was a great experience. I did not want to leave. I would most certainly book this hotel...

Chose this hotel for our first trip to NY. It was the best choice! Staff is very friendly (thank you so much Christina and Iris for your great customer service! Actually everyone was really great, but I didn't get your names. Thank you everyone!). Everything was so clean! Loved it. Carlos T.

Chose this hotel for my friend's 40th birthday trip to New York. Fantastic hotel, great location, close enough for everywhere that you would want to visit. Staff were very helpful. Would recommend to anyone visiting New York.

This hotel is a little gem. It's not huge which means no waiting around on elevator for starters. It was our second time staying here and I have to admit it didn't live up to our first stay. Our room was smaller, which wasn't much of an issues but we were expecting a fridge again as it was advertised with...

6 nights at this hotel was a great way to start our first visit to NYC. One night in a small double, then 5 in a 1 bed/studio (which had 2 TVs, kitchenette, a sofa and dining table/desk). It was nice to be able to spread out and make our own breakfasts. The rooms are quite compact but ours was...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night after seeing a show in the city. I was really blown away with everything this hotel has to offer, from the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the fantastic location of the hotel. The hotel is located right in the middle of Rockefeller Center, surrounded by wonderful shops and restaurants....

I was originally travelling on my own so I picked this hotel because of the location, and was not disappointed! It certainly helped that the room faced right onto Rockefeller Centre! The view was great. My son then decided to join me so I requested twin beds which they couldn't guarantee but said they'd provide a fold a way bed...

Everything is just as it should be at the Jewel. Not inexpensive but we are talking the center of Manhattan. My stay at the Jewel this week was just perfect. Great location for theatre, shopping, Central Park, St Patrick's Cathedral.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
