For a building situated so close to Time's Square, Metro Apartments are surprisingly spacious and proves good value for money. The renovated room we stayed in was clean, modern, self contained and the bed was large and comfortable.

Does anyone take travelers cheques these days and why would you want to use them in a place like New York when it is cheaper to take cash out of the hole in the wall?? I can understand carrying cheques when visiting the third world but not in the US. The hotel has a cash machine in the lobby, use a card - cheaper and safer.
